After-school clubs and regular activities for young people at The UTurn Hub.

Holiday Clubs
Safe, structured activities during school holidays for young people aged 9+.
Young People’s Weekly Activities
Regular after-school activities at The UTurn Hub. These sessions are low-cost, structured and supportive. Snacks and drinks are provided, and meals can be booked in advance where available.
Monday Activity Club
A structured after-school session offering positive activities, support and social connection.
Cost: £2.50 per session
Wednesday Activity Club
A supportive midweek activity session with trusted adults, routine and positive engagement.
Cost: £2.50 per session
LEGO Club
A calm, creative after-school session that helps build focus, confidence and social skills.
Wednesday: 4:00pm–6:00pm
Cost: £2.50 per session
Life Skills & Wellbeing
Practical programmes that support young people with confidence, wellbeing, independence and everyday life skills.
Health in a Hurry
- Practical health, food and life-skills programme
- Builds independence, confidence and everyday skills
- Suitable for young people aged 9–16

Funded Programmes
Funded programmes are limited-space opportunities designed to support young people with confidence, wellbeing, skills and positive futures. Some programmes require registration of interest before places are confirmed.
Wellbeing Fitness Programme
- 6-week wellbeing and fitness programme
- HIIT and boxing-style activities
- Builds confidence, wellbeing and positive routines
- Small group sessions, maximum 16 participants
- Places are limited
Transitional Mental Health Programme
- Fully funded mental health programme
- Supports young people aged 15+
- Builds confidence, resilience and coping skills
- Weekly sessions from April to December 2026
- Limited to 20 places
Some programmes are funded by partners including Active Essex.
Holiday Clubs
Safe, structured holiday club sessions for young people aged 9+, including creative, active and wellbeing activities in a small group, supportive environment.
