Summer Holiday Club at The Hub — Ages 9+
Our Summer Holiday Club at The Hub provides a safe, structured and engaging environment for young people aged
9+ during the summer holidays.
Sessions run from 9:00am–3:00pm and include a mix of positive activities, social time,
confidence-building opportunities and planned trips or special activities.
Planned activities may include creative projects, team games, gaming and social time, golf, outdoor activities,
community visits and special experiences such as emergency service or police dog training demonstrations,
subject to availability and confirmation.
Summer Holiday Club Dates
Our Summer Holiday Club is planned around the Essex County Council school summer holiday period.
Please note: There are no Thursday sessions.
- Week 1: Tuesday 21 July, Wednesday 22 July and Friday 24 July 2026
- Week 2: Monday 27 July, Tuesday 28 July, Wednesday 29 July and Friday 31 July 2026
- Week 3: Monday 3 August, Tuesday 4 August, Wednesday 5 August and Friday 7 August 2026
- Week 4: Monday 10 August, Tuesday 11 August, Wednesday 12 August and Friday 14 August 2026
- Week 5: Monday 17 August, Tuesday 18 August, Wednesday 19 August and Friday 21 August 2026
- Week 6: Monday 24 August, Tuesday 25 August, Wednesday 26 August and Friday 28 August 2026
Monday 31 August 2026 is the Summer Bank Holiday, so no session will run on that date.
Please check your young person’s school dates before booking.
What to Expect
Young people will take part in a variety of activities throughout the summer, which may include:
- Team games and physical activities
- Creative and problem-solving challenges
- Gaming and social time
- Group activities and teamwork
- Golf and outdoor activities
- Community visits and partner activities
- Special experiences such as emergency service or police dog training demonstrations, subject to confirmation
- Opportunities to build confidence and friendships
Trips and special activities are subject to availability, staffing, weather and confirmation from external partners.
Food & Lunch
UTurn provides snacks and drinks during each session.
For full-day sessions, please send your young person with a packed lunch unless you request UTurn lunch
on the booking form.
UTurn lunch is charged separately at £3.00 per day and must be requested in advance when booking.

This holiday club is suitable for young people aged 9+.
Spaces are limited and must be booked in advance.
Please complete one booking form per young person.
Cost
- Individual sessions: £20.00 per day
- Full Summer Booking: £400.00 for all 23 sessions
- UTurn lunch: £3.00 per day
The Full Summer Booking includes all available Summer Holiday Club sessions from
Tuesday 21 July to Friday 28 August 2026.
Spaces are limited and early booking is recommended.
