Active Essex Easter Holiday Club (Ages 11+)
Our Easter Holiday Club offers fully funded places for young people aged 11+ to take part in positive activities, build confidence and improve wellbeing in a safe and supportive environment.
This programme is funded by the Active Essex Foundation through the Activate Holiday Programme and is designed to support young people during the school holidays through structured activities, social connection and wellbeing support.
Programme Dates & Times
The programme runs across 4 sessions at The Hub:
✔ Monday 30th March 2026 – 2:00pm–6:00pm
✔ Wednesday 1st April 2026 – 2:00pm–6:00pm
✔ Tuesday 7th April 2026 – 10:00am–2:00pm
✔ Wednesday 8th April 2026 – 2:00pm–6:00pm
What Young People Will Experience
Young people attending the programme will take part in a range of engaging activities designed to support both physical and emotional wellbeing.
Sessions may include:
✔ Team games and physical activities
✔ Creative and problem-solving challenges
✔ Confidence-building activities
✔ Group discussions and wellbeing support
✔ Opportunities to build positive friendships and social connection
Where applicable, young people may also receive healthy refreshments as part of the programme.
Eligibility
Places are prioritised for young people who are:
✔ Eligible for Free School Meals (FSM)
✔ From low-income households
✔ Considered vulnerable or requiring additional support
Due to limited places, priority will be given to young people who meet the above criteria.
