Fundraise
Are you looking to get involved with some charity fundraising? You can hold your own charity fundraising event. You’ll be sure to have a wonderful time while also raising vital funds to help us to empower young people to make informed choices.
Past Fundraisers
Over the years, amazing supporters have taken on all sorts of challenges for UTurn – from bake sales and school events to half marathons and triathlons.
Take a look at some of our past fundraisers and see how people just like you have helped keep our youth club open and supporting local young people.
School fundraising ideas
Get your whole school involved in supporting UTurn with fun, simple fundraising ideas:
Turn £5 into more: Give groups of students £5 and challenge them to grow it – through baking, crafts, games or mini-events.
Bake & sell: Run a school bake sale and raise money by selling cakes, biscuits or treats.
Craft & create: Students can make cards, keyrings or small gifts to sell at break time or after school.
All the money raised helps us provide safe spaces, activities and support for local young people.

Featured fundraiser: UTurn 30-Mile Challenge – January 2026
Looking for a simple way to get involved and make a real difference? This January, you can get fit for a reason by joining our UTurn 30-Mile Challenge.
Throughout January 2026, we’re asking supporters to run, jog or walk 30 miles and raise vital funds to support UTurn’s work with local children and young people.
What is the UTurn 30-Mile Challenge?
It’s simple:
- Complete 30 miles in 30 days – in your own time, at your own pace
- Ask friends, family and colleagues to sponsor you
- Help us keep our youth club and projects running for the young people who need them most
You can clock up your miles however you like – short daily walks, weekend runs, treadmill sessions or a mix of all three.
Where your miles make a difference
The money raised from the UTurn 30-Mile Challenge goes directly towards:
- Keeping our youth club open and welcoming
- Funding new equipment, activities and resources
- Helping us keep our programmes free or heavily subsidised for families facing financial hardship
By taking on 30 miles, you’re helping us keep the doors open and the lights on for hundreds of children and young people who rely on UTurn as a safe, positive place to be.
