UTurn is an award winning charity dedicated to empowering young individuals aged 18 and under to actively influence the decisions that affect their lives. We encourage young people to engage in their communities, enabling them to contribute as volunteers, advocates, decision-makers, and leaders.

Our History
UTurn has a vibrant and impactful history centred on community support and empowerment. Established in 2019 with the intention of meeting local challenges, UTurn started as a modest initiative dedicated to youth development and educational opportunities. Over the years, it has transformed into a multifaceted organisation, broadening its scope to encompass diverse community engagement activities. By collaborating with local partners, UTurn has adeptly responded to the evolving needs of the community, launching innovative programmes and initiatives.
UTurn’s dedication to inclusivity and assistance has cultivated a robust network of volunteers and collaborators, resulting in a significant positive influence. In recognition of its outstanding contributions, UTurn was honoured with the prestigious King’s Award in 2024, a testament to its impact and excellence in community service. Today, UTurn serves as a symbol of hope and opportunity, persistently working to uplift individuals and strengthen the community’s fabric.
