UTurn4Support is a youth charity based in Clacton-on-Sea, supporting young people and families across Tendring and the surrounding areas.
We provide safe spaces, trusted relationships, mentoring, activities and practical support that help young people build confidence, develop skills and take positive steps towards their future.
HOW IT STARTED
Our Story
UTurn4Support was created to give young people somewhere they could feel heard, supported and encouraged to move forward.
Founded by Shani Jackson and Tania Swanson, UTurn has grown from a local idea into a registered charity supported by staff, volunteers, trustees, Youth Ambassadors and community partners.
As UTurn has grown, one thing has stayed the same — young people remain at the centre of why we are here and how our work develops.
